About
The Susty Schools Project brings education on the Sustainable Development Goals to primary and secondary school students across Nigeria. The programme meets young people where they are and helps them understand, care about, and act on the environmental challenges shaping their world. Through a locally grounded curriculum, interactive learning experiences, and hands-on projects, Susty Schools builds not only environmental knowledge but also the confidence and skills young people need to lead.
Interactive Learning
We actively engage students through participatory methods, peer discussions, and hands-on activities that deepen understanding rather than passive learning.
Experiential Learning
From tree planting to hackathons and recycling challenges, students take part in real-world experiences that make sustainability tangible, not just theoretical.
Localised Curriculum
Our curriculum includes local examples, case studies, and cultural perspectives that help students see the relevance of sustainable practices in their own communities and daily lives.
Pop-Culture Integration
We use music, film, dance, and other creative outlets to make sustainability relatable and engaging because learning should also be enjoyable.
