About
Street Conference is one of our longest-running programmes. It is a community-first initiative that brings sustainability education, waste management advocacy, and hands-on action to markets, public spaces, and neighbourhoods across Nigeria. The programme meets people where they are. Conversations happen in local languages, in familiar spaces, and with the energy of the communities themselves. By combining awareness, action, and participation, Street Conference helps communities see how everyday choices can contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable environment.
Community Cleanups
We organise cleanups in markets, streets, and other public spaces. These activities remove waste while showing what responsible waste management can look like in practice.
Advocacy
Our team engages directly with traders, residents, and community members to promote recycling, waste sorting, and everyday sustainable practices.

Intervibes
Through short street interviews, we listen to everyday people and learn how communities understand environmental issues. These insights help shape our circularity and waste reduction interventions.

What people are saying.
“WCD24 was amazing. We had a lot of people in the market support, it just shows that we are doing something right. Let's not forget the children that didn't just show up but participated.”
Diwang Jirai

Neife Ikechukwu Patrick
“The World Cleanup Day is a day that reminds me of the importance of taking care of our environment and the impact we can have when we come together as a community.”
Samson Daramola
“The Youth Day of Service (YDOS) and SustyVibes Street conference was an avenue to connect and network with link-minded individuals who share similar passion for Planet Earth. The cleanup team, which I joined, was full of vibrant energy and vibes. It was like nothing I had ever seen before. The willingness of volunteers to enter into the gutters just to properly clean up really amazed me, not even the heavy downpour could dampen our spirits. It was truly one of the best displays of vibrancy, tenacity and energy from the Youth. Looking forward to doing more.”
