About
Communitrees is our flagship tree planting and climate advocacy project. Between November 2020 and April 2021, we set out to plant 5,000 indigenous trees across Lagos and Abuja, working alongside local residents, schools, and volunteers. Each tree planted represented more than a number. It was a shared commitment between communities and volunteers to nurture, protect, and sustain the environment. Through Communitrees, we strengthen community resilience while raising awareness about the important role trees play in protecting ecosystems, improving air quality, and supporting climate action.
