I screamed for joy when I read the news that Solar Impulse had completed her trip around the world, I had been following the story for months and sharing progress on my social media with the hashtag #TheFutureisClean and with the highest hopes that everything will go on smooth and that this would inspire everyone on the brilliant miracle that is clean technology.
If you did not already know, Solar Impulse is the first ever flying plane powered solely by solar with a weight of just 2.3 tonnes compared to an average plane’s weight that is 300 tons. Solar Impulse has just completed a groundbreaking trip of 40,000km around the world without fuel.
Flown by the incredible Andre Borschberg and Bertrand Piccard, Solar Impulse presents a beautiful story of persistence and hope.
I am overjoyed at this news and rejoice with the entire world for our victory, not only is the future clean, the future can be 100% Sustainable, if we do all that we need to do as believe in it wholeheartedly.
For me, Solar Impulse teaches me two things: Impossible is nothing, The most significant barrier to our success is actually us!
I leave you with this beautiful tweets by the incredible Solar Impulse pilots.

The Future is Clean! 🙂
Solar energy is expensive plus need much maintenance that is costly. We still can’t generate required energy. But obviously i
